Follow the session’s ending
If you are practising with a teacher, follow the ending they provide and ask about options you need. Do not add a difficult movement simply to make a short session seem more complete. Rest and stopping are practical choices within an appropriately guided practice.
At home, leave the space usable while you decide what comes next. Keep a familiar seat or another comfortable ordinary position available. You do not need to rearrange the whole room to mark the difference between movement and a quieter interval.
Return without making a score
Notice one simple detail, such as whether the session’s length fitted the day or the room was easy to use. You can record that observation without deciding whether you were relaxed enough or performed the sequence well enough.
When you are ready, put the used items away and return to the next task in your usual way. A modest ending can make another session easier to begin. It does not need a special ritual, a long checklist, or a promise about how the rest of the day will feel.
